The Freedom Monument


Latvian Freedom Monument is a memorial that symbolizes freedom, independence and sovereignty of Latvia. It was unveiled on November 18, 1935 during the first independence of Latvia. Monument was almost demolished at the beginning of the Soviet Occupation, however, it was decided to keep the monument. The Monument is located in Riga.
